Whether it's a leisurely family hike or a challenging summit climb - everyone can enjoy hiking with us. With five long-distance hiking trails and countless day tours, there are endless opportunities to discover the mountain and alpine world.

The Hochkönigcard - one card,
packed programme

The Hochkönigcard is the perfect addition to your summer holiday in the Hochkönig region. The card gives you access to numerous activities and attractions at reduced prices or even free. For example, you can use 6 summer cable cars in the region as well as the hiking bus and all public transport in the Pinzgau region to reach the peaks and hiking trails easily free of charge. Admission to various museums and swimming pools is also free or greatly reduced for Hochkönigcard holders.
In addition to these offers, the Hochkönigcard also offers many other outdoor activities and experiences. How about a guided hike, e-bike tour or archery, for example? All these activities and many more are available to you free of charge with the Hochkönigcard.

For those who like riding on two wheels, the Hochkönig region is an eBike paradise in the mountains. There are many enchanting routes through forests and meadows specially designed for cyclists. The region is full of challenging trails that are just right for adrenaline junkies. But there is also a wide range of routes for more leisurely bike rides to explore nature and get some fresh air with the family. Our Grünegg Alm is a perfect starting point for your bike tours - whether self-propelled or using electronic support. The e-bike route network in the Hochkönig region is perfectly organised so you can charge your bike for the next day's tour at our in-house e-bike charging station.
In addition, there are many different guided e-bike and MTB tours offered daily free of charge when you have the Hochkönig Card.

Nature here is full of treasures that many people don’t even notice. When you hike observantly through the Salzburg mountains, you’ll discover countless herbs and plants that not only work wonders for your health, but are also delicious when processed. In order to spread this knowledge, together with 13 other alpine pastures in the region, the Grünegg Alm has specialised in the topic of "regionality refined with herbs".

Hike to eight delightful herbal mountain pastures and receive a herb bag filled with homemade products from the mountain pastures as a reward.
